TIPS. The age old way of giving a monetary incentive, above and beyond that which was formerly agreed upon, to encourage or complement service that is above and beyond that which was expected. All that to say, tipping your wedding vendors is a personal choice. This post is NOT written to convince you to tip or not. It is merely a guide offered to answer your question, 'How much should I tip my vendors?'.

A large majority of my couples want Jesus and the Church to have nothing to do with their wedding and their ceremony and their vows. If this is you, I support you. BUT I also support couples who do invite the holy ghost to their big day, because I support my couples in the choices that are the most important to them.

To assign or not assign, that is the question that we are tackling. Many couples, understandably, shudder at the idea of having to decide where their guests will sit and by whom, however table assignments are incredibly important.

Is a sustainable wedding the antithesis of a luxurious, elegant wedding? Yes, but also no. Weddings are inherently a show of wealth, they can be egregious and excessive but if we shift our mindset, we will see that true luxury means high quality, durable and environmentally conscious. It isn’t boastful or flashy, it’s understated, and poised at the cutting edge of true humanitarianism.
