Most Sixpence brides are chill. They come to our meetings feeling like they know what they want they just need a little help figuring out the details and at the end of the meeting they are smiling and happy and life is dandy. This is Melinda to a T. Our planning meetings were calm and relaxed and productive and THEN on the wedding day Melinda and Jacob were exactly the same.
They smiled and laughed and went along with the timeline and stood where I told them to stand. It was noticeable and palpable. Every vendor commented on how great the wedding day was going and felt. The thing is everyone loves a well executed day. Everyone loves to not feel rushed, not feel harried, not get barked at or bossed around.

6 THINGS WE CAN LEARN
Opting for a spacious bridal suite for getting ready is always a good idea, even better if there are plenty of windows for natural light.
Give gifts to your gal pals before your first look, but be mindful of if you want them in their matching getting ready outfits or their matching dresses.
Use a crochet hook to make buttons and loops a cinch. Or, if you’re in a pinch, use a bobby pin (skill level: experienced).
Clear umbrellas can save a rainy morning - a birdcage shape will actually protect your from rain.
Embrace your rain back up plan early and confidently, assertiveness is the courage to be ourselves. SMILE FACE
For dessert tables think about symmetry. If you have three crates to display desserts on, plus a cake stand, how is that going to work? If you don’t care, let it ride, if you think you might, have a plan to give to the set up team.
