Julia + Johanna. Two peas in a pod. If you invest the time and the energy into finding, selecting, and purchasing personalized coffee mugs for each of your guests - then you my friend are great. You care, sincerely, about the people who are going to attend your wedding. And guess what?
THEY CARE ABOUT YOU TOO.
Johanna + Julia did an amazing job at making their wedding theirs. With their non-gendered bridal party (bridesmen and groomswomen), having Bowman and Ellen as their flower dogs, and creating custom yard games with their favorite female idols plastered on the faces of them.
And even though it POURED. Like mini-mud slides and breakout your ponchos rain, everyone had enough fun to stay until the last shuttle, to clear the reception tent and stand on the road with sparklers, and to go back up for seconds, thirds, fourths.
6 THINGS WE CAN LEARN FROM JULIA + JOHANNA
- A well prepared rain plan can mean the difference between a wedding you enjoy and a wedding full of stressors.
- Last minute guest RSVPs changes are inevitable.
- Guest favors can be the place cards and personalized anything makes them feel giddy AF.
- If you're happy, I'm happy.
- Having a friend officiate can be done, and done well.
- At the end of the night, wear comfortable shoes.
