What to do, what to plan, what to wear, blah blah blah. I mean not blah, because wedding planning is important, but it is a lot, I mean a lot of planning. And in order to plan we need ideas! We need inspiration! We need something more than just Pinterest - gasp! I said it. Actually I wrote it. It can’t be unwritten. Actually it can, but I refuse.

Pinterest is great, but sometimes the images you are pinning are actually not from real weddings and while the ideas are great, sometimes it’s not possible to gauge the budget of said wedding ideas.

So let me suggest a few additional options for gaining wedding insight and creativity.

  1. Green Wedding Shoes. They’ve got inspiration boards that are sure to spark your imagination; my personal favorites: “Proposals” and “Flower Love”.

  2. Hello May. Check out their “Real Engagements” page. It’s lovely and romantic, and sure to spark some innovative thinking.

  3. Style Me Pretty. You can narrow it down to region and state; which is helpful for real wedding inspiration. Like the venues you are interested in and the vendors. Excellent

  4. Your local major city magazine. Minneapolis | St. Paul Magazine for example has on their Wedding page a calendar, their blogs, a guide search and real wedding photos. Nice.

  5. Still need more? Me too. Check out Wedding Blogs 100. Name says it all. Eat your heart out.

So good luck, get inspired, but don’t forget the best way to get inspired is to have a conversation with your spouse-to-be and reflect on your own love story.

Prosperity, Love & Happiness,

P.S. Happy Family Holiday Time! See you in the new year!
