Of course there is one backdrop for your wedding that you want to be simply breathtaking and stunning, the one that you say your vows in front of, the one that will be in photos for certain, the one that guests will be staring at when they aren’t mesmerized by you and your love.

But with the right photographer you might have a few more backdrops added to your wedding, that will be immortalized in the photos that you will receive in 4-6 weeks. Take a look at 10 creative wedding backdrops, all found right here in the Twin Cities.

I mean, the way that Mark Fierst captures couples on their wedding day, the green greens and the blue blues. That pop of white and the tenderest kiss or hand touch... seriously how could you not pin every one of these images? Must Have Wedding Moments for sure.

You may think a stunning backdrop is only useful during the newlywed portrait session either before the ceremony or afterwards, or during golden hour, but here are a few other times that a backdrop will be important:

  • During your bridesmaids photo session. You know pictures of you gals, laughing your butts off without half empty cups, boob tape and dirty insoles in the photo
  • For groom + groomsmen photos
  • Family portraits or during the receiving line
  • A great backdrop for the decor details. This is super important if you have all of your fancy details inside with poor lighting. If I was your planner I would grab a few of the goodies and place them adorably in good lighting with a creative backdrop.
